You are all invited to the Red Deer River Naturalists March Monthly Meeting Speaker Series
RDRN once again welcomes senior RDP students to present summaries of their research projects.
When: March 26, 2026 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Held at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre, 6300 45 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 3M4, in the Theatre room.
Speakers: Julia Butcher, Meghan Heistad, Brandon Kalinowski, Madi Mackee, Arynn Sideritsch and Eric Wolstenholme-Schmidt from Red Deer Polytechnic will Present a Variety of Fascinating Research Topics.
Topics: Exploring Utilization of a Highway Overpass in the Bow Valley Region, AB, Occurrence and Temporal Activity of Urban Moose in the City of Red Deer, AB, The Use of Environmental Samples to Assess Cortisol and other Factors in Moose, Exploring Urban Coyote Ecology in the City of Red Deer, AB and Identifying Alberta Bat Species using Bioacoustics,
The students are attending RDP in the Biological Science Degree Program. Hoping to become professional biologists, they begin their research careers with projects spanning 3 weeks to 3 months.
All are welcome, you do not have to be a RDRN member to attend.
