Nature Central – Wild Alberta Parklands
The goal of RDRN Nature Central program is to celebrate the protected areas in Central Alberta and to increase the appreciation, thoughtful exploration, non-consumptive use and ecological understanding of these areas.

Register for our Nature Central winter snowshoeing/walk on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 10am to noon at Kelly Ranches!

Kelly Ranches is a Nature Conservancy of Canada protected area located approximately 40km east of Red Deer. The property contains Aspen parkland, meadows and wetland.

There is limited access to this property and registration is limited to 15 participants. We will be suggesting a meet up spot nearby to car pool to the access point. Please email epc.rdrn.nature@gmail.com to register.

Whether we snowshoe or walk will be up to Mother Nature! We hope to get more fresh snow!
