Red Deer River Naturalists Bird Focus Group Field Trip
With regrets, we must cancel the Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial Park field trip. The forecast calls for rain and given the nature of the bentonitic soils on the exposed slopes and condition of the road, it will not be safe to hike in those conditions.
We will instead be walking the River Bend Golf & Recreation Area – Perimeter Trail Rain or shine.

Bring your binoculars*, camera/phone, bug spray and sunscreen. Wear layers and carry rain gear and a hat as required by conditions. Let Chris know if you have any potential medical issues.
