• Hwy 36 Field Trip

    Our annual Sandhill Crane trip to Hwy 36/Allliance area will be on Sunday, April 27. We will leave Red Deer at 8:00 AM. Come prepared to carpool and bring food and drinks for the day.

  • Flower Focus

    Spring Blooming Flower Refresher. Presenter:  Don Wales Participants are encouraged to bring their best slides or images of spring wildflowers to show at the meeting followed by a short field trip in the sanctuary. Bring your images on a memory stick or in the form of 35 mm slides as there will be a projector.

    Count all living things: birds, mammals, insects, flowers in bloom. Phone Judy Boyd at 403-342-4150 to register where you will be counting.

    Meet at Kerry Wood Nature Centre at 10 a.m. Bring a lunch, drink and water footwear. Be prepared to car pool and dress for the weather.

    Saturday, June 21  and 22—Bjorge Farm in the Battle River Hills.
