Stewardship and Habitat Preservation
The Red Deer River Naturalists participate as stewards in the Government of Alberta’s Stewardship Program. A number of areas located on crown land in the province have been identified as significant and worthy of protection. They vary greatly in size. Individuals and organizations are invited to act as stewards for these areas. RDRN has accepted responsibility for three.
