Just before the bend to the right there is a small gravel parking lot where you can park at the entrance to Tamarack Blvd. We cross over the road into the park. \nWhen: July 1\, 2023 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Maybe longer. \nHost: Chris Olsen \nAll are welcome\, you do not have to be a RDRN member to attend. \nBring your binoculars\, camera/phone\, bug spray\, sunscreen. DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join Nature Central/RDRN on July 23\, 2023 for a captivating experience with Mr. David Delafield\, Assistant Professor of Outdoor Leadership Burman University as your guide! Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of a serene paddle on a local water body. Do not miss this opportunity to create lasting memories and embrace the wonders of nature! \nLocation: Magee Lake Public Access\, Pin: https://goo.gl/maps/s8ju5GpPNWWT5r5B9 \nDirections: From QEII\, take exit #431 onto Milton/Gadsby Lake Road\, proceed East for 19.5km to Rge Road 243. The road will dead-end at the lake. Meet at the boat launch at the end of Rge Road 243. Road surface on Rge Road 243 is gravel and well maintained. \nTime: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. \nAll participants should come prepared for 2-3 hours on the water with snacks\, water\, sunscreen\, bug spray and suitable clothing for the weather. Trip will begin with a safety briefing on shore followed by a leisurely paddle and a series of short cultural and natural history interpretations. After the led portion of the trip\, participants are encouraged to explore the rest of the lake and lakeshore. Adequate parking and port-a-potties are available.
