DESCRIPTION:The public is invited to hear Dr. Scobie talk about his doctoral research\, which examined the influence of human development on Burrowing Owl reproductive success and movement patterns. Then he will discuss his current role at the Royal Alberta Museum (RAM) and share some results of his current projects (one of which includes the extinct Passenger Pigeon) and research.  Lastly\, he will give a sneak peak at some of the new displays he is helping to develop for the new RAM in Edmonton.
