DESCRIPTION:Red Deer River Naturalists is a proud Gold Member Sponsor for the ALMS annual conference for 2023.\n\nALMS \n2023 Annual Conference\nSeptember 12-13\, 2023\nHeld at Camp Kannawin\n\nEach year the Alberta Lake Management Society (ALMS) hosts a two-day workshop to engage stakeholders on issues related to lake monitoring and management. In 2023\, ALMS is bringing the annual conference to Sylvan Lake\, Alberta! This event will also feature topics specific to the Red Deer Watershed in support of the Red Deer River Watershed Alliance’s Fall Forum! Presentations on our agenda include subjects such as bulrush restoration\, piping plover distribution\, oil sands monitoring\, shallow groundwater\, cyanobacteria blooms\, satellite imagery of lakes and more!
