DESCRIPTION:You are all invited to the RDRN March Monthly Meeting Speaker Series\n\n\nRDRN once again welcomes third and fourth-year RDP students to present summaries of their research projects.\n\n\nWhen: March 27\, 2025 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.\n\n\nWhere: Held at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre\, 6300 45 Ave\, Red Deer\, AB T4N 3M4\, in the Theatre room.\n\n\nSpeakers: Joyce Agot\, Ariana Dahmer\, Kiara Mickey\, Campbell Skelton and Jessie Thompson from Red Deer Polytechnic will Present a Variety of Fascinating Research Topics.\n\n\nTopics: Summer diet overlap between Coyotes and Black Bears in the Beaver Hills Biosphere\, A Bioacoustics Survey to Monitor Bat Biodiversity at Half Moon Bay\, Sylvan Lake\, Characterizations of Ungulate Gut Parasites – The Hunt for Fasicola magna and Genetic Barcoding of Local Native Bees.\n\n\nThe students are attending RDP in the Biological Science Degree Program. Hoping to be professional biologists\, they begin their research careers with projects spanning 3 weeks to 3 months.\n\n\nAll are welcome\, you do not have to be a RDRN member to attend.
