SUMMARY:Bird Focus Group Walk Field Trip
DESCRIPTION:With the heavy rains earlier in the week\, I’m thinking that Dry Island Buffalo Jump will need several drying days for the bentonitic slopes to be safe for hiking. With that\, we’ll cancel the trip to Dry Island Buffalo Jump Provincial park for this week (Sep 12. 2026) and do the Lakes of Lacombe trails in lieu.Let’s meet at Burman University\, Physical Education Centre parking lot at 10:00 a.m. and we’ll walk from there\n\n\nChris Olsen\n\n\nYou are all invited to the Red Deer River Naturalists Bird Focus Group Walk\n\n\nLocation: Barnett\, Elizabeth and Cranna lakes – Lacombe\n\n\nMeet: Burman University Physical Education Centre parking lot\n\n\nWhen: September 12\, 2026 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Maybe longer.\n\n\nHost: Chris Olsen\n\n\nAll are welcome\, you do not have to be a RDRN member to attend.
